About the Company
Provine Helicopter Service was founded in 1985 with a philosophy of providing superior personnel, equipment, training and management. We wanted to go beyond the ordinary. In fact, we wanted to become an integral part of the management team for timber companies and utilities.
We believe that today's Provine Helicopter Service is a superb testament of the power of a good idea. Over the past 20 years, we have grown from one helicopter and five employees to 11 company-owned, turbine-powered Bell helicopters, 38 ground-support vehicles, and 45 employees. Since 1985 we have treated in excess of 5 million acres of forests in addition to our utility right-of-way contracts.
