Aviation Search Group has partnered with Diamond Aircraft, an innovative leader in general aviation manufacturing, to recruit a Sales and Marketing Director. This individual will drive the development and execution of sales and support strategies in partnership with senior leadership, establishing a strong foundation for the sales and support network across North, South, and Central America. The Director will oversee the promotion and sales of new and pre-owned aircraft, as well as related products and services, providing leadership and strategic direction. Additionally, this individual will monitor and analyze sales performance against established goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy:
- Define and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities, assess market trends, and analyze competitors to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align sales and marketing strategies with the company's overall vision and mission.
- Lead the sales team:
- Manage and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance the team's sales performance and overall effectiveness.
- Monitor sales activities, track progress, and analyze key metrics to ensure the team's success.
- Maintain up-to-date buyer, seller, and aircraft data, ensuring accurate and organized records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage aircraft transaction documents, reporting, and filing processes efficiently.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to facilitate the transfer of respective aircraft transaction documents, maintenance, and warranty programs for new aircraft.
- Oversee marketing initiatives:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and promote our aircraft products and services.
- Utilize various marketing channels, including digital platforms, trade shows, industry events, and print media, to reach the target audience effectively.
- Monitor and analyze marketing efforts' performance and ROI, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain client relationships:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, industry partners, and other key stakeholders in the aviation industry.
- Understand customer needs and preferences to tailor solutions that align with their requirements and provide outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Manage budget and resources:
- Ensure effective allocation of resources and budget to achieve maximum impact in sales and marketing activities.
