 Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
 * Perform a variety of activities including preparation of surfaces and mixing paints. Paint aircraft, small parts, and various surfaces according to required specifications. 
* Perform layout and masking as necessary. 
* Mix paints, primers, etc. according to specifications. 
*  Strip paint and prepares surfaces as required. 
* Perform miscellaneous paint operations and applies decals. 
* Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company initiatives and complies with safety regulations. 
* Demonstrate paint and paint preparation competencies needed to successfully complete finishing operations. Required Skills:
 *  Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in painting and methods of mixing paint colors. 
*  Ability to read and interpret blue prints, engineering drawing and technical publications required. 
*  The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required. 
*  Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills. 
*  Aviation mechanical experience, either fixed wing or rotorcraft experience, desired. Education and Experience Requirements:
 *  High school education or general education degree (GED) Required 
*  Minimum 3 years work-related Aircraft Paint Preparation experience; Commercial Painting will be considered if the candidate has no specific aircraft painting background.
