Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the worlds most demanding flying environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This newly created position will play a key role in transforming how technological solutions are designed and delivered across the organization. The incumbent will collaborate closely with IT teams and business units to rapidly design and deliver application solutions that address operational needs.
Contribute to the establishment of a new AI‑assisted application development practice at Air Inuit. The role serves as a bridge between business needs and technological capabilities, leveraging modern approaches such as artificial intelligence, as well as low‑code and no‑code tools, to accelerate the delivery of high‑value business solutions.
Will support internal teams in adopting new development methodologies, while contributing to the establishment of best practices, quality standards, and governance related to the use of artificial intelligence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and rapidly develop application solutions using AI and no‑code tools.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and identify automation opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into concrete technological solutions.
• Support and guide the adoption of new development methodologies across the organization.
• Contribute to the definition of best practices, governance, and quality standards.
• Participate in the growth of a new strategic application development capability within the IT department.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Education in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software development during the early stages of a career.
• Experience in a business‑oriented role (business analyst, product management, technology project management, etc.).
• Strong understanding of business processes and user needs.
• Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies, automation, and artificial intelligence.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build something new
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (French-English).
• Exceptional perseverance in identifying technical solutions to successfully complete projects and tasks.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work while meeting deadlines under pressure (stress tolerance).
• Strong enthusiasm for learning
• High attention to detail.
