About the Role:
The Reservation Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience. This position requires a highly organized, guest-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and provide personalized services to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
Accountabilities include, but not limited to:
▪ Respond to all guest reservation requests and execute prompt, courteous and accurate guest service at all times to address any questions or concerns they may have regarding their reservation, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
▪ Process reservation inquiries and bookings through phone, email, and online platforms, providing prompt and accurate service.
▪ Show complete product knowledge and understand rate structure, and be able to effectively explain them to customers. Ensuring correct rate codes are used.
▪ Assist in updating the room allotments, groups blocks and rate codes in all applicable systems ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
▪ Check all expected daily arrivals requests and communicate them to other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
▪ Keep track all correspondences in the filing system; compile reports as directed and submit to concerned stakeholders.
▪ Participate and comply with any training and reservation programs, such as up-selling, cross selling other department services to increase revenue for the Hotel and company.
