Responsibilities:
 - Inspect, maintain, remove, and install aircraft egress systems, including ejection seats, Cartridge Actuated Devices (CADs), shoulder harnesses, and lap belts 
- Perform maintenance on oxygen systems, including valves, converters, regulators, and gauges 
- Maintain environmental and life support systems such as air conditioning, cockpit heating, ventilation, pressurization, and fire extinguishing systems 
- Conduct daily, pre-flight, post-flight, and scheduled inspections in compliance with operational checklists 
- Support flight line operations: launch, recovery, turnaround, and plane captain duties 
- Assemble, disassemble, install, or modify aircraft systems and components 
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical subsystems 
- Perform validation/verification testing of repaired or replaced systems/components 
- Document maintenance actions, inspection results, and repairs for compliance with regulatory and contract requirements 
- Inspect components for flight worthiness and certify airworthiness after repairs or modifications 
- Support and oversee training and oversight of junior personnel 
- Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and compliance standards across all operations 
   
   
Qualifications:
 - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- High School diploma or GED (vocational school or Associate degree preferred) 
- 4+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience 
- Demonstrated experience working with aircraft ejection systems 
- Proficient in removal, installation, inspection, and rigging of aircraft systems and components 
- Must be able to work onsite 100 at NAS JRB New Orleans; occasional travel to Stennis Facility may be required
