JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS A: Guest Services Officer

As a Guest Services Officer, you’ll be responsible for team performance and the smooth, day-to-day operations of our ground services. You’ll be at the forefront of quality and safety, ensuring every guests experience is seamless from check-in to boarding.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Strategically plan and review staff rosters to meet operational needs and ensure fair distribution of duties. Youll manage manpower at key areas like check-in counters and boarding gates.

  • Prepare and brief staff before operations, ensuring they have the necessary information and tools. Youll actively coach and develop your team to achieve high standards of safety and quality.

  • Oversee daily operations at the check-in counter, boarding gate, and arrival hall, and prepare detailed daily reports.

  • Ensure all Guest Services operations comply with the regulations and standards of both AirAsia and the Civil Aviation Authority of Japan.

  • Report any potential safety or security risks to the Station Manager to maintain a secure and safe environment.

  • Handle and resolve passenger complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have a minimum of 4 years of experience, with at least 2 years in the airline industry.

  • You hold a Bachelors Degree in any field.

  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to handle passenger complaints effectively.

  • You are comfortable working in a diverse environment and have a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including rotational shifts, nights, and public holidays, to meet operational needs.

  • You have good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Japanese and English
