Under the responsability of the Director, Security Operations, the Cybersecurity Analyst plays a strategic role within the operations team, proactively managing incidents and vulnerabilities to protect the organization from threats. About 80 of the role focuses on handling alerts and vulnerabilities, while 20 is dedicated to projects and continuous improvement, making it a hybrid position. With strong analytical skills, autonomy, and expertise, the analyst actively strengthens the company’s security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents using advanced SIEM and SOAR tools;
- Conduct in-depth investigations of security breaches and potential cyberattacks;
- Develop and implement effective incident response procedures and playbooks;
- Perform regular threat hunting to proactively identify and mitigate risks;
- Configure and optimize security tools and systems to enhance threat detection;
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve overall security posture;
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and apply necessary patches;
- Remediate vulnerabilities on Unix/Linux and Windows servers;
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and defense techniques;
- Contribute to the development of security policies, standards, and best practices;
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and security trends for leadership.
