Position Summary:
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Jupiter, Florida that is a leading aftermarket service provider for multi-platform OEM gas turbine power plants worldwide.
The CDL Driver ensures compliance with all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and delivery documentation requirements while supporting warehouse operations as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Operate assigned commercial vehicle safely and in full compliance with all traffic laws.
- Maintain a valid CDL license and DOT Medical Card.
- Report all traffic violations, incidents, or accidents immediately to the Account Manager.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily via the Motive App (CT40 scanner).
- Maintain accurate driver logs and ensure proper duty status reporting.
- Follow all company safety rules — earbuds are prohibited while operating vehicles or equipment.
- Ensure load weight and distribution are compliant with DOT safety requirements.
- Assist warehouse teams with picking, processing, loading, and unloading materials as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Coordinate with facility teams for efficient unloading and in-plant deliveries.
- Collect and submit all signed delivery sheets to the appropriate office at the end of each run.
- Reload return products, verifying accuracy against the Truck Manifest, and scan completed manifests to the manager and supervisor before departure.
- Return all shipment labels and documentation to the appropriate warehouse team.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed prior to departure, including securing the truck door, reconnecting dock chains, and removing wheel chocks.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid CDL license and active DOT Medical Card required.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred.
- Familiarity with Motive App and digital driver logs are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and safety awareness.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with loading/unloading.
