Aircraft Washer - FSD

Job Description:

Alpine Air is currently seeking a part-time Aircraft Washer to be located at their Sioux Falls, SD company site. Work schedule can be flexible according to needs. The Aircraft Washer will be responsible for cleaning the exterior of all aircrafts as well as deicing aircrafts as necessary. Work is performed outside, in all weather conditions.

Duties and responsibilities

The selected applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

Cleaning the exterior of aircrafts
Deicing aircrafts, as needed
Observe safety and FAA regulations
Practicing safe lifting methods
Assisting Ramp Agents in aircraft preparation as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

Able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds to shoulder height
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Be available for flexible schedule depending on aircraft arrivals
Must possess a valid drivers license
Required to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Working conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. Work for this position is performed outside, regardless of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
