Based full time onsite in Farnborough
Morson is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to join an exciting and innovative aerospace programme based in Farnborough. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in transitioning a pioneering high-altitude aircraft project from R&D into full-scale production.
About the Role
As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will help transform design intent into an efficient, safe, and cost-effective production system. You’ll work hands-on to optimise manufacturing processes, support production readiness, and ensure high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement manufacturing systems using Lean and Cellular Production principles.

Develop and maintain ERP/MRP routings, process instructions, and standard operating procedures.

Support procurement, supply chain, and make-vs-buy decisions.

Provide technical problem-solving for production and suppliers.

Conduct Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design to Cost (DTC) analyses.

Drive continuous improvement and Right First Time quality culture.
About You
We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer from an aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing background with:

Strong knowledge of assembly, integration, and test processes.

Experience creating process documentation and ERP routings.

Familiarity with RCCA, APQP, and continuous improvement methods.

ERP/PLM experience (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Arena).

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in regulated environments (CAA, Part G, Part J) or with Avionics manufacturing would be advantageous.
