Based full time onsite in Farnborough 

Morson is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to join an exciting and innovative aerospace programme based in Farnborough. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in transitioning a pioneering high-altitude aircraft project from R&D into full-scale production.

As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will help transform design intent into an efficient, safe, and cost-effective production system. You’ll work hands-on to optimise manufacturing processes, support production readiness, and ensure high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement manufacturing systems using Lean and Cellular Production principles.

• Develop and maintain ERP/MRP routings, process instructions, and standard operating procedures.

• Support procurement, supply chain, and make-vs-buy decisions.

• Provide technical problem-solving for production and suppliers.

• Conduct Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design to Cost (DTC) analyses.

• Drive continuous improvement and Right First Time quality culture.

We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer from an aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing background with:

• Strong knowledge of assembly, integration, and test processes.

• Experience creating process documentation and ERP routings.

• Familiarity with RCCA, APQP, and continuous improvement methods.

• ERP/PLM experience (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Arena).

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience in regulated environments (CAA, Part G, Part J) or with Avionics manufacturing would be advantageous.
