Job Title: Machine TechnicianJob Description
This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position where you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery. You will ensure machine specifications are met, perform necessary adjustments, and adhere to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines, including tool changes, according to instructions and specifications.
- Secure tooling on the machine table using clamps and wrenches.
- Calculate material removal from parts and set gauges to measure dimensions.
- Adjust controls to regulate machine operation.
- Follow all plant safety regulations.
- Support departmental performance goals.
- Learn and operate multiple machines.
- Perform other machining duties as assigned.

- Attention to detail.
- Ability to sign off paperwork for job accuracy.
- Ability to work safely and wear personal protective equipment.
- Perform inspections and take responsibility for work quality.
- Use and read micrometers, calipers, and measurement gauges.
- Read, write, and speak proficiently.
- Work independently in high-stress environments.
- Determine machinery functionality based on specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Candidates must pass a near vision eye test to Jaeger 1 and a color perception test.
- Competent in general math.
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled factory with a business casual dress code, requiring a blue coat in the work area. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with potential shifts to 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm or 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. Steel-toed shoes are required. All tools provided. Must pass random drug testing due to FAA regulations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
