Responsibilities:
 - Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly using carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other aerospace-grade lightweight materials. 
- Operate and set up automated lay-up machines and other NC fabrication equipment. 
- Interpret and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and planning documents, including nonconformance dispositions. 
- Execute hand lay-up and automated methods to produce detail parts and subassemblies in line with quality and safety standards. 
- Use fabrication tooling materials and motorized equipment to accomplish manufacturing tasks. 
- Select appropriate materials, tools, parts, and hardware required to complete assigned work statements. 
- Prepare and support test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for thermal protection system (TPS) testing and validation. 
- Perform chemical conversion, surface prep, and coating applications to meet corrosion protection and appearance standards. 
- Maintain high standards for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control, housekeeping, and safety, including use of PPE such as safety glasses, harnesses, and respirators. 
- Collaborate across shifts to ensure seamless handoffs and production continuity. 
- Working directly with Thermal Protection System (TPS) materials and processes.
   
Qualifications:
 - High school diploma or GED. 
- Secret Clearance required to start
- Mechanical experience, including torque wrench usage and basic hand tools. 
- Electrical handling experience, specifically adhesives and wire routing. 
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. 
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work area. 
- Preferred Qualifications:     - Drilling experience (composite or metal materials). 
- Background in painting or autobody work. 
- Prior experience in composite or aerospace manufacturing environments.
