CNC MachinistJob Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machining equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and operating CNC Lathes and CNC Mills with minimal supervision, performing simple to complex setups, changing tools, and performing programming edits with verification through inspection methods. The role involves generating CNC programs using CAM programming software and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
- Perform simple to complex setups and tool changes.
- Edit and verify CNC programming through inspection methods.
- Generate CNC programs using CAM programming software.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following 5S principles.
Essential Skills- Experience operating and programming CNC machines.
- Proficiency with CAM programming and CAD software.
- Ability to use MasterCAM Software.
- Familiarity with G Codes and measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and blueprints in English.
- Strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of experience for Level 2 CNC.
- 5 or more years of experience for Level 3 CNC.
- Experience writing CNC programs in a machining environment.
- Aerospace experience is preferred.

Work Environment
The position offers two shift options: a 2nd Shift from Monday to Thursday, 2 PM - 12:30 PM, with an optional 5-day workweek from Monday to Friday, 2 PM - 10:30 PM, or a Weekend Shift from Friday to Sunday, 5 AM - 5:30 PM, offering three 12-hour workdays with pay for 40 hours per week. The work environment emphasizes safety and cleanliness, adhering to the 5S principles.
