Job Title: Entry Level AssemblerJob Description
Join our team as an Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly of sonobuoys for the US Navy within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Youll work on one of five production lines, utilizing a variety of hand tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble sonobuoys following detailed blueprints and instructions.
- Utilize tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, and electric drill drivers.
- Perform light lifting tasks up to 35 lbs.
- Participate in soldering training as required.
Essential Skills- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- No prior experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Any previous assembly experience, even assembling furniture, is preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate dedication to a career change and a stable work history.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment with a structured schedule of 4/10 shifts from Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. The position is for the 2nd shift from 4 PM to 2 AM. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift for 2-4 weeks, from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
