About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for :
Develop and improve manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for the fabrication and assembly of detail parts and end item productsInterface with the production floor to resolve design and assembly issuesResearch new equipment, technology, and methods of manufacturingSupport projects to improve quality, efficiency and reduce costAnalyze specifications, drawings, procedures, and schematics for manufacturing requirementsProvide component and system level design inputs based on Design-for-Manufacturability and support the incorporation of engineering changes and product improvementsRepresent manufacturing engineering in Integrated Product Teams or other cross functional groups

Qualifications
Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelors degree in Engineering or a related fieldBasic software programming skills or Excel macro skillsExperience with 3D modeling programs are desiredAbility to apply logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems

Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is
$26 - $31 per hour.
