POSITION SUMMARY:   Responsible for   planning, coordinating, and managing all activities   and areas assigned.   Coordinates closely with related departments to   maintain   schedules and effect necessary changes and revisions.    Assigns, trains, directs, and appraises   structures   personnel.    Ensure   that safety regulations are closely adhered to.   Completes   related documentation as required.         
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND   RESPONSIBILITIES:      
- Assists   Project Manager   in developing   short- and long-term   goals and   objectives.   Provides suggestions and recommendations.   
- Assumes responsibility for the efficient,   timely, and   accurate   completion of   all   Structures   &   Modification Installations.
- Effectively supervises assigned personnel, ensuring   optimal   performance.   
- Assumes responsibility for   maintaining   effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and management.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as   required   or assigned.
- Manage structure installation functions and coordinate and complete   in accordance with   Company policies,   procedures,   and quality standards.
- Good communication   and effective working relations exist with other   departments.
- Structure installation operations are closely   monitored   and supervised.    Suggestions for improved productivity   are provided.
- Related documentation is complete,   accurate, and   timely.
- Appropriately   informs the supervisor   of   activities and significant problems.   
- Company   professionalism while ensuring direct reports   maintain   the same.   
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
   
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:      
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License   or FAA   Airframe License
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a supervisor   
- 5+ years of experience working with   aircraft.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:      
- Additional   related training or technical school education

WORK ENVIRONMENT:   This job   operates   in indoor and outdoor settings.   The indoor settings include   office   and warehouse   environments which require the use of   standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as safety gear.   The outdoor settings include parking lots and airplane runways.   The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.   Occasionally subject to varying inside and/or outside temperatures, which may include extreme heat (temperatures above   100   degrees) or extreme cold   (temperatures below 32 degrees).   
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is   frequently   exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.   The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.

Standing extended time periods. Walking for long distances. Using upper body to press against something with steady force. Using upper body to draw, drag, haul, or tug objects. Use of upper body and back muscles to lift objects.   
Medium work; exerting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 25 lbs.   frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
