Amazon Prime Air is revolutionizing delivery through autonomous drone technology, aiming to deliver packages to customers in 30 minutes or less. Our breakthrough technologies, including advanced BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) capabilities and sophisticated detect-and-avoid systems, have earned FAA approvals and are setting new standards in autonomous delivery.

With operations already successful in multiple locations and expansion planned, were seeking an experienced Program Manager to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects.. In this role, youll work at the intersection of innovative technology, operational excellence and implementation, and strategic planning to help scale Prime Airs revolutionary delivery system.




Key job responsibilities
•Coordinating with cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes
•Participate in or lead meetings to build positive, collaborative partnerships among team members, stakeholders and field leaders and associates to complete all required tasks to ensure successful new launches throughout the organization
•Prepare team performance reports for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews that distill key metrics and provide insights into recommended strategies
•Communicate to Senior Management on status, risks, and process/product changes
•Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment
•Partner with teams to source, allocate, and coordinate resources
•Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes
•Identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
•Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
•Develop, implement and govern key performance indicator (KPI) reporting for a portfolio of programs

Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- •Experience owning end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- •Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects in fast-paced environments
- •Ability to look around corners and identify long lead launch risks- Track record of driving process improvements at scale
- Experience with managing cross stakeholder relations and deliverables
- Experience with fulfillment center operations and last-mile delivery integration
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and compliance requirements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic spanets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic spanet up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic spanet. Pay is based on a number of factors including spanet location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
