The Operations Supervisor LSG Sky Chefs in Denver, will oversee daily food production activities and ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. This role is responsible for leading and motivating production teams, managing productin workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet operational goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in food safety and product quality and thrives in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment. 

• Work location: onsite Sky Chefs facility Denver International Airport  

Supervisor Responsibility

• Ensure the assigned area is properly organized, staffed, and managed to meet all delivery deadlines.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate priorities and updates.
• Schedule and manage staff to achieve labor productivity goals while controlling overtime.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP, and others.
• Maintain documentation of departmental processes and follow up to drive continuous improvements.
• Oversee accurate and on-time production and catering for all flights.
• Monitor operations to ensure full compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve high performance.
• Promote and uphold the company’s values and management principles within the department.
• Manage labor hours and operational costs, taking corrective action when targets are not met.
• Actively support and participate in company initiatives, including Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and Production Systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in production operations/warehouse/distribution required; prior experience in catering or the aviation industry is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proven ability to develop and lead teams to achieve results and meet productivity goals
• Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications
