Description:You will be the Manufacturing Planning Manager (Level 5) for the Tactical Missile Launcher Programs team. Our team is responsible for managing manufacturing planning for M270 and HIMARS programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planning Manager (Level 5) you will be responsible for leading the planning function that drives production success across our missile launcher portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead manufacturing planners and associate managers for M270 and HIMARS programs.
- Develop and track monthly, annual, and long‑range production plans to meet contractual milestones.
- Coordinate recruitment, training, performance assessments, and workforce management for the planning team.
- Conduct impact analysis and communicate plan changes to program management and production leadership.
- Ensure accurate labor charging and compliance with internal operating procedures.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Previous leadership experience
• Experience supporting MMAS (Material Management and Accounting System)
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of SAP, and MS programs
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, and internal and external customers.
• High level of experience in MRP and ERP systems along with experience in risk mitigation strategies for material availability.
• Experience assigning/managing projects to organizational unit by leading team of managers and/or staff to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and time sensitive operational issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage functional leaders in creating, monitoring and reporting on all executive operations metrics.
• Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) extensive user experience or implementation
• Knowledge of industry wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire Production supply chain.
• Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus / (Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification preferred)
• Experience managing Tactical Missile efforts.
• Experience working Program proposals to establish labor budgets
• Proven ability to build and lead cross functional teams to maximizing output.
• Experience presenting to Director level and above.
• MBA or other relevant higher education.
• 10+ years management experience.
• 10+ years Program Planning experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
