About the Role
Bridger Aerospace is seeking a full-time Manager of Information Technology to lead the planning, implementation and maintenance of our cloud-first environment. The Manger of IT is responsible for leading IT support to the organization’s employees, computer systems, networks, and applications. This is a full-time position based at Bridger Aerospace HQ located in Belgrade, MT and must be performed on-site.
Reports to: Director of Technology
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team providing phone, remote, and onsite technical support to all Bridger Aerospace employees
- Function as the senior systems administrator for our Entra and MS365 environments
- Act as the senior point of escalation for service requests or incidents
- Perform annual reviews of existing policies and create new policies in response to emergent requirements
- Plan and execute major system migrations in response to product end-of-life or internal business requirements
- Federate and integrate new business units in response to acquisitions
- In partnership with the Information Security Team, establish and implement configuration standards and controls to ensure the security of our endpoints, network devices, Azure resources, Entra ID and our MS365 environment
- Manage software licensing for the enterprise
- Act as primary liaison to any managed service providers and vendors
- Manage administration of the network component of physical security systems
- Manage telecommunications services to include cellular, satphone, ISP and Starlink
- Manage, train and mentor junior IT staff
- Review IT publications and online materials to remain up to date with germane technologies
- Participate in, and/or maintain IT Training or Certifications as authorized by Management
- Ensure adherence to controls and policies governing access to information systems
- Participate in User Access Reviews and other activities related to audit functions
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of progressive Help Desk/Desktop Support/Systems Administration/Information Security professional experience
- Experience administering hybrid or full Entra ID and MS365 environments
- Experience administering Microsoft desktop operating systems using InTune
- Demonstrable history of process improvement and programmatic adaptation to changing technologies and business environments
- Experience drafting and staffing policies or revisions governing company-wide and internal IT/security processes
- History performing or supervising information security related functions such as vulnerability management, configuration management and alert/incident triage
- Hold current managerial-level certifications in information security management such as CISM, GSLC or CISSP
- Experience with remote management and MDM tools
- Working knowledge of network devices to include switches and firewalls
- Experience providing technical support to a remote workforce
- Experience with printer and peripheral setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Takes the initiative for process improvement
- Ability to embrace change while rapidly learning new tools and developing new skills
- Customer-focused and service-oriented while adhering to management priorities
- This position requires United States Citizenship
