How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Reporting to the General Manager - Dangerous Goods, Environmental Health * Systems, the student co-op will be assigned to support the Environmental Management (EMS) and Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS) programs at Delta Air Lines.The student co-op will assist Program Managers in developing, maintaining and implementing Contributions may include:Reviewing, revising, and/or developing internal environmental policies and proceduresMaintaining environmental documents and recordsTraining Delta’s environmental personnelThis role is compliance focused through assisting Program Managers in meeting and exceeding federal, state, and local (US EPA, State Departments of Environmental Quality, and County/municipality) compliance at the corporate level. There is a heavy systems and data management, entry, and analytics component to the role.Some intermittent overnight domestic travel may be required. Opportunities for international travel may arise.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institutionAt least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scaleMust be available to work on a full-time basis for 3 alternating semesters: Spring 2026, Fall 2026, and Summer 2027This position requires students to work for 3 alternating semesters. Students cannot take courses (online or in-person) while working, which may delay graduation by 1–2 semestersMust be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the Co-opThis Co-op/Intern role is for educational and professional experience only and does not guarantee a full-time offer Delta Air Lines upon graduationAbility to travel as some intermittent overnight domestic travel may be required.
