We are recruiting for Cargo Space Control Supervisor for Beijing, China.

The selected candidate will optimize the cargo capacity of a group of flights in order to maximize their revenue contribution to the network, finding the right balance between Load Factor and yield. Manage the flights over their booking cycle by forecasting the cargo capacity, setting inventory controls and overbooking levels, and filtering the demand. Monitor the performance of the flights and take pro-active and corrective actions.

Accountabilities:

• Determine the available cargo capacity based on the forecasted payload and cargo configuration to ensure maximum space utilization for cargo within the region.
• Set overbooking levels for each flight based on forecasted no/low- shows, to avoid revenue loss.
• Set relevant inventory controls to ensure an effective capacity optimization and prevent quality issues.
• Closely monitor the utilization of the allocated space (pro-active allotment release) in order to avoid empty space at the time of departure; signal significant deviations and trends.
• Monitor the booking patterns and take corrective actions in case of trend breach: alert sales for underperforming flights, increase entry conditions for over-performing flights, initiate aircraft upgrades in case of high demand, increase overbooking levels, etc.
• Pro-actively re-route shipments to fill up the less demanded flights.
• Process booking requests on queue within agreed SLA with Cargo Sales.
• Decide upon acceptance of booking requests and booking updates.
• Decide upon acceptance of booking requests under allotment exceeding the agreed allocated space.
• Instruct origin stations with planning and preferred load instructions for transit shipments.
• Perform a flight release for all flights within agreed SLA with Cargo Ops: prepare and handover to Cargo Ops a booking list including loading priorities and applicable loading instructions.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Strong analytical skills and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
• Solid understanding of cargo operational and commercial processes.
• Commercial sensibility.
