Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor – UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B1/B2
Location: London City Airport
Salary: 91,009 in your first year - (inclusive of basic salary, shift allowance, and sign-on bonus)
Join a unique airline operation, based at the heart of London.
This is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic airline that combines the high standards of a major international carrier with the close-knit culture of a smaller, more agile operation. Based out of London City Airport – a single-terminal hub serving business and leisure travellers – our team enjoys a uniquely collaborative environment where people are genuinely known and valued.
Our operation offers the opportunity to really get to know your colleagues – and in many cases, even our regular customers – creating a strong sense of community and pride in what we do. Whether you’re on the ground, in the air, or behind the scenes, your contribution makes a difference.
About the role
As Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead our line maintenance team in supporting a modern fleet of Embraer E190 aircraft. This is a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced airport, where short runways and steep approaches demand precision and expertise.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance operations — both scheduled and reactive. From coordinating defect rectification and supporting AOG recovery, to shaping team culture and mentoring engineers, your impact will be both operational and cultural.
What you’ll bring
-
UK CAA Part-66 B1 or B1/B2 licence
-
At least 5 years’ certification experience
-
At least one current aircraft type authorisation
-
Embraer 190 type rating desirable (training can be provided)
-
A full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
-
Eligibility for restricted airport access and airside driving
You’ll also need a thorough understanding of Part 145 procedures and proven experience leading engineering teams in a high-pressure line maintenance environment. A forward-thinking approach, strong communication skills, and a passion for developing others are key.
What they offer:
We value the people who make our operation possible — and our rewards go beyond the basics:
-
Competitive salary + generous shift and overtime allowances

3,000 sign-on incentive
-
5-5-4 shift pattern – guaranteed 2 weekends off per month (days & nights)
