SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
• Federal Aviation Administration Airframe Certificate (Powerplant preferred)
• Working knowledge of aircraft wheel and brake system
• Ability to read and interpret technical data, manuals, drawings, and illustrated parts catalogs
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Talk and/or hear routinely throughout the day
• Sitting is required
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and/or balancing all day
• Use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Work in hangars, on the flight line, or in repair shops utilizing hand, power tools, test equipment
• Work outdoors in inclement weather conditions enduring high noise levels when making emergency repairs
