Quality Inspector
Job Description:
  • Utilize Net-Inspect to input, review, and manage inspection data in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and submit First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with AS9102 requirements and customer specifications.
  • Responsible for ensuring all incoming materials, parts, adhere to quality inspection standards in accordance with the company’s Aviation Repair Station / Quality Control Manual (RSM/QSM/AS9100).
  • Ensure that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work and that the inspection records, reports, and forms used by the Repair Station are properly executed prior to releasing the product for return to service.
  • To ensure that all maintenance is performed in accordance with FAA approved / accepted data, appropriate FAA regulations, manufacturers maintenance manuals, accepted industry standards and maintenance practices, and the operator’s manual.
  • Assist in determining parts conformance and serviceability.
  • Performing in process inspections to ensure compliance with maintenance documentation and quality of workmanship.
  • Verify P/N and S/N on items being shipped in and out of facility are properly documented and correct.
  • Review article trace documentation to accurately identify suspect unapproved parts.
  • Generate return to service and certificate of conformance documents for aircraft and component records
  • Ensuring that all Repair Station activities are consistent with the limitations of the Repair Station certificate and manufacturer service center requirements.
  • Perform in-depth quality verification using various inspection methods to determine airworthiness of a product.
  • Landing Gear Experience is a plus
  • Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Holder of FAA Airframe and or Power plant (A&P) license.
  • At Least 18 months of aviation experience Required.
  • Experience with Net-Inspect and AS9102 FAI reporting strongly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
