• Review routers, plannings, procedures, specifications, and other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform operation.• Processing and inspection of parts in accordance with procedures and technical instructions.• Set-up, operate, calibrate and perform inspections on NDT equipment by following established instructions and record results.• Interpret, evaluate and report evaluation results as required and outlined.• Fill out required logs and statistical data sheets as required.• Maintain required job skills and knowledge of requirements (including procedures, specifications, etc.) • Maintain work area, equipment, and 5´s to be ready for audits at all times.• Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) to Level 1 NDT Inspectors and others Level 2 NDT Inspectors• Adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) and Internal RegulationsJob Description
• Minimum 1 year experience in non-destructive testing field• Have documented hours for Training, & Experience per NAS-410 in Eddy Current Testing as Level 2: o Minimum 40 hrs classroom training (including 40 h for Level 1)
o Minimum 600 hrs On the Job Training (OJT)
o Minimum 600 hrs On the Job Training (OJT)• Aerospace or aviation experience strongly desired• Experience in the interpretation of flaws in rotative aircraft engine parts• Qualifications and experience in Penetrant Testing, Eddy Current and Ultrasonic Testing. Desirable to hold current or previous certifications
