Maintenance Control: Mid-Term Planner
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mid-Term Planner to join our team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with easyJet’s AMP by effectively planning, controlling, and administering all scheduled maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will play a key role in coordinating unscheduled maintenance activities to be performed during light maintenance hangar inputs or on the line. You will work closely with our approved planning systems and liaise with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organisations and the Maintenance Operations Centre (MOC) to ensure all maintenance requirements are seamlessly integrated and executed.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will ensure compliance with all legislative and company procedures to maintain aircraft airworthiness and company standards. You will ensure company systems accurately reflect the planning status of all scheduled and unscheduled tasks, manage the content and distribution of work packages, and review and plan the rectification of defects across the easyJet fleet. Working with Mid-Term, Short-Term, and Base Planning Teams, you will help define the line/hangar maintenance nightstop plan and monitor fleet reports for AOG situations or deferred tasks. Additionally, you will maintain effective communication, comply with health and safety requirements, support airline performance targets, ensure maintenance data is fed back accurately, and resolve technical queries in AMOS promptly. Other duties as requested by the Maintenance Control Planning Manager may also be required.
What you’ll need to do the role:
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical hangar maintenance planning skills, with a proven track record of flexibility, teamwork, and adaptability in dynamic environments. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite is essential, and experience with AMOS is an advantage. A solid understanding of EASA, FOCA, and CAA regulations is required, along with a comprehensive knowledge of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme.
