As a part of our Production team working for our MRO site (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), the Inspector role is a critical element of our team.
Youll work with the latest equipment and gain valuable experience in aircraft production. Youll have opportunities to learn and progress, with investment being made on site its an exciting time to join our growing local team.

Key responsibilities:

- Inspect and sentence a wide variety of aircraft landing gear components to return them to a serviceable condition
- Visual inspection of components for acceptance or identify defects to the manufacturers original design
- Analyse complex aircraft back to birth history to ascertain full traceability, acceptance and correct lifing of parts
- Follow component maintenance manuals, drawings, engineering layout information and additions to the original design
- Create and compose detailed sequence of processes and engineering method statements for repairs of complex components along with the compilation of appropriate quality assurance documentation
Job Requirements:

What do I need to succeed in the role?

- An Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent ideally gained in the aerospace sector
- A background in working with aircraft components or similar industry
- Confident communicator, amongst team members and with other business areas
- Sound mathematical skills and a good problem solver
- An understanding of Lean Sigma disciplines and 5s principles
