General Work Schedule:
- Full-Time, 5 days (40+ Hours) per week.
- Schedule will include weekends, as well as federal, state and
personal holidays
Required Certifications & Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Driver License and ability to meet the requirements of driver insurability as established by the
insurance carrier required.
- Completion of NATA Safety 1st online instruction within 30 days.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and posses the right to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Read, write and speak English
- Basic math skills.
Definition:
- Works all ground operations at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Jet Center including but not limited to safely towing and fueling all types of aircraft.
General Duties:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Open and close Fixed Based Operation (FBO) and perform all duties.
- Pre-planning of aircraft parking positions.
- Be proficient at all FBO and Airport standard operating procedures and check list items.
- Offload and load passenger baggage and supplies.
- Transport clients and their possessions to and from aircraft.
- Assist flight crews as required.
- Able to perform all quality control functions as it relates to aircraft fuel loading and unloading.
- Fueling all types of aircraft on a daily basis.
- Perform daily and monthly fuel quality control inspections on aircraft refueling equipment.
- Attach, disconnect, tow and reposition of aircraft with specialized equipment.
- Guides aircraft during arrivals and departures, using hand signals and/or with wands.
- Services aircraft with ground support equipment (GSE) as needed, including but not limited to:
- AC/DC ground power unit for aircraft engine starts and power while on the ground.
- Lavatory Service for aircraft as needed.
- Air conditioning (heat/cool) for aircraft.
- Communicates with supervisors and customer service representatives via portable radios.
- Interfaces directly with customers, guest, Members and tenants to collect and then relay as necessary all aircraft handling information.
- Provide aircraft with ice, coffee, catering, newspapers and other necessary services.
- General ground keeping and security such as weeding, picking up trash on ramp and cleaning hangar floors and GSE.
- Inspect runway and aircraft operating surfaces for foreign object (FOD) prevention.
- Follow all safety policies and best practices.
- Perform other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Work day is not complete until the task at hand is finished or shift end is reached, whichever occurs last.

- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
- Be able to solve problems without immediate supervision.
- Proficient at daily open and close-out paperwork, clerical and inventory tracking skills.
- Communicate courteously with customers, line service and customer service representatives in person and over the phone.
- Ability to work one-to-one basis.

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This department requires footwear which is slip resistant, closed toe and heel, preferably with toe protection, as part of their uniform.
