Key qualifications include an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically on general aviation aircraft with time working on the Cessna 208 series of aircraft and Pratt & Whitney PT6A-114 Series engines. Necessary skills include a positive and energetic attitude, in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and parts, proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure and interpret technical manuals. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are also required. This is not an entry-level position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include experience in general aviation aircraft, and has experience with turboprop aircraft such as the Cessna 208, King Air, Pilatus, etc., prior leadership experience, knowledge of maintenance tracking software, proper maintenance signoff’s, and familiar with Part 145 and 135 operations and procedures.
