Summary:  
  Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, installation, and removal of structural components, including fracture-critical areas.
 Locate blind holes for new installations; perform sealing, painting, shimming, and preservation per repair processes.
 Read/interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modifications/repairs.
 Use tooling assemblies/fixtures for depot-level modifications and repairs.
 Troubleshoot/repair aircraft mechanical components and replace parts as required.
 Perform sheet metal/structural modifications and assess functionality of basic electrical systems.
 Use aircraft tools/equipment: torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes/shears, etc.
 Access aircraft data systems to initiate parts and discrepancy requests.
 Maintain required certifications/licenses.
 Work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 35 lbs.
 Ensure safe work environment via Hazardous Energy and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
 Assist teammates across disciplines (mechanical, avionics, electronics) to meet cost/schedule goals.
 Pass an assessment at the end of training and comply with SA Site Tool/FOD procedures.
 
Requirements:
  High school diploma or GED.
 4+ years experience working with non-porous metals (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel).
 4+ years experience interpreting schematics, drawings, and specs.
 4+ years experience using structure hand tools (drills, countersink cages, rivet guns, etc.).
 4+ years experience with heavy structures (doublers, stringers, webs, seat tracks, etc.).
 Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends/holidays.
 Regular and predictable attendance required.
 Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
 
Physical Requirements:
  Ability to sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grip, and operate tools in a production environment.
 Stand for long periods; work in elevated/confined spaces.
 Lift up to 35 lbs; occasional 2-person lifts required.
 Frequent overhead reaching, ladder use, balancing, and extended standing.
 Exposure to sealants, solvents, noise, metals, and atmospheric conditions.
 Handle and dispose of hazardous materials.
