Job Title: Aircraft MechanicJob Description
As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be working on a variety of lighter aircraft fleets including M1 aircraft such as Turbo Commanders and Grand Caravans. Your role involves reading and interpreting complex manuals to repair, fix, and maintain aircraft effectively. This position requires expertise in heavy maintenance and troubleshooting, with a focus on M1 aircraft experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 1500/2000 labor checks, repairs, and inspections on aircraft.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on Air Tractors.
- Allocate basic tasks, conduct inspections, and remove panels under the guidance of the lead hand.
- Research and interpret manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
- Undergo basic safety training and adhere to safety standards.
Essential Skills- M1 License with a minimum of two years of experience.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding manuals.
- Experience in heavy maintenance on light aircraft.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with TC 690 and PT 6 modern lighter aircraft.
- Heavy maintenance experience on helicopters.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Positive attitude and strong team-working skills.

Work Environment
You will be part of a team of 18, collaborating with team leads or lead hands to ensure aircraft functionality. The team leads rotate among crews, providing varied leadership experiences. Basic tooling is required, and you will work the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities. Shifts can occasionally extend to 10 hours, especially for contractors, offering 40-58 hours of work per week.
