Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job DescriptionAs an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for supporting aircraft maintenance, modifications, and ensuring airworthiness compliance. Your role will involve basic riveting and avionics troubleshooting, primarily focused on modification work.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure all work is completed in accordance with FAA and NASA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians if needed.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Saab 340 aircraft.
- Support assessment and disposition of aircraft squawks.
- Support and perform complex aircraft modifications, retrofits, and system upgrades, ensuring all changes meet regulatory standards and aircraft specifications.
- Ensure all maintenance practices comply with FAA Part 25 repair station guidelines, OEM requirements, NASA maintenance and quality assurance guidelines, and safety and EH&S policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, avionics, and structural issues on aircraft when required.
Essential Skills- A&P license
- Heavy maintenance and modification experience
- Experience in MRO/Repair station/Depot level maintenance
- 10+ years of experience
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to use computer software to manage work orders
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Heavy maintenance, repair, and modification experience or military depot level maintenance

Work Environment
Work in a cutting-edge hangar environment specializing in design, build, and R&D on advanced unmanned aircraft. Be part of a team of 7-8 technicians. Must be flexible on shift with two options: Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM or Monday-Thursday 2PM-12PM, rotating every 2 weeks. If more technicians join the night shift, the rotation may be adjusted for fairness.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
