Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling aircraft to ensure safe working condition.
Key Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Maintenance: Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance on aircraft systems, airframes, and engines in a safe and expeditious manner.
  • Problem Identification: Assist team leaders and shop foreman in identifying unsafe or potential problems and report errors.
  • Technical Publications: Become familiar with technical publications, including maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and airworthiness directives.
  • Tool Maintenance: Own and maintain basic hand tools and test equipment.
  • Communication: Work and communicate closely with other shop and office personnel to ensure smooth transition of customer aircraft.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensure: A&P License required.
  • Experience: Experience with Cessna and Beech model aircraft.
  • Skills:
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Demands
  • Mobility: Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Lifting: Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequently lifting up to 10 lbs.
Work Environment
  • Shop Conditions: Frequent exposure to general shop conditions, engine noise, and aircraft exhaust.
  • Safety: Must follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
