We are seeking a detail-oriented Part Straightener to perform repeated tasks with precision. You will be responsible for pulling hydro-formed sheet metal parts from a freezer and ensuring that these parts meet the tolerances specified by blueprints. This role requires working in a noisy area of the shop, where you will also be deburring parts. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Pull hydro-formed sheet metal parts from a freezer.
• Ensure parts are within blueprint tolerances.
• Deburr and grind parts.
• Work in a noisy shop environment using hand tools.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear required PPE.

• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience with hand tools in a production setting.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1 – 50 lbs frequently.
• Capability to squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.
• Ability to work in a 55 – 85 degree Fahrenheit environment.
• Familiarity with working in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Work Environment

This position is in a manufacturing environment where you may be exposed to loud noises and machinery with moving parts. The day shift is from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The work environment requires wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
