As a Project Engineer, you will:
• Serve as Product Owner and Control Account Manager for the Mk7 Strategic Planning team with oversight for cost and schedule execution.
•Facilitate conversations with technical team to propose work scope with Navy counterparts. Interface with finance and planning teams as well as technical team to understand work scope, plan budget and create schedule tasks.
• Administer Earned Value Management (EVM) best practices across varied engineering organizations as a Control Account Manager.
• Ensure Control Accounts are managed with acceptable Cost, Schedule, and Risk to meet sales and revenue goals by communicating and providing leadership with accurate and up to date status
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
• Ensure Engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers
• Collaborating with all levels of personnel within the Team, other functional departments, programs, and government personnel
•Support other duties as assigned by program leaders including execution of project management duties across several IPTs such as program planning, contract interpretation, and system integration, as well as cost and risk management.
• Assist project managers and leadership with monitoring and evaluating project progress and problem solving, including developing and assisting in managing detailed project plans, timelines, and technical content
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent combined experience

• Knowledge of program lifecycles

• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Project and program management
• Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)
• Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Control Account Management (CAM)
• Experience with a combination of design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.
• Experience evaluating programmatic and technical risks and effectively developing mitigation activities
• Systems Engineering and Model Based Engineering (MBE) experience
• Experience with missile design development and production program
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
