Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $39.24-$44.24/Hour
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)
   
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
   
Responsibilities:
 - Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components 
- Assemble electronic/electromechanical prototypes using schematics, diagrams, and hand tools 
- Conduct functional and performance tests, ensuring systems meet design requirements 
- Troubleshoot circuitry and hardware, identify faults, and perform corrective action 
- Perform inspection and quality control on electrical components and assemblies 
- Interpret engineering diagrams, block schematics, and specifications to support builds 
- Document test results, generate reports, and analyze data using spreadsheets and test software 
- Collaborate across engineering and production teams to support design verification and production readiness 
   
Qualifications:
 - U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline (or equivalent experience) 
- 7+ years of experience in electrical/electronic test and development environments 
- Proficient in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, specifications, and industry standards 
- Skilled in test equipment operation, data collection, and spreadsheet analysis 
- Capable of generating technical documentation, block diagrams, and maintaining engineering records 
- Experience with test software and system validation methods in a lab or production setting 
- Security clearance not required but may be beneficial based on project scope
