Summary:  
  Seeking an experienced engineer to join the MBSE team within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Center of Excellence (COE). 
 Operate  under the Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) directorate, developing and maintaining MBSE architecture models to support current and future HWIL capabilities. 
 Lead  system architecture and modeling efforts, ensuring MBSE models are current, accurate, and aligned with program needs.
 Develop and manage requirements and system models for current and next-gen RF and IR capabilities
 Create IBDs, BDDs, Use Cases, Functional Diagrams, and other architectural views using MBSE tools
 Maintain and update system models using SysML, UML, or domain-specific languages
 Apply MBSE principles to ensure systems are designed and developed model-based
 Coordinate with HWIL engineers, system product owners, and cross-functional teams
 Perform system analysis and simulations, including performance, reliability, and trade studies
 Develop and maintain model-based testing approaches to verify system behavior
 Ensure model consistency, accuracy, and traceability; manage model changes
 Build MBSE Starter Kits and training content for Cameo modeling
 Provide training and support on MBSE principles, practices, and tools
 
Requirements:
  Interim Secret required to start; Active Secret preferred
 Bachelors degree or higher in a technical discipline
 5+ years professional experience in MBSE using Cameo
 Experience with Open System Architecture (OSA) principles and SysML-based tools
 Strong skills in system functionality definition, state diagrams, operational modes, and requirements decomposition
 Ability to synthesize and implement system architectures across multiple HWIL systems
 Familiarity with requirements tracking tools (DOORs, Cameo, or similar)
 Knowledge of systems engineering processes and lifecycle
 Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
 
Desired Skills:
  Experience collaborating with cross-discipline teams to derive and decompose complex requirements
 Exposure to digital engineering environments (MBSE, digital twin)
 Background in system-of-systems architecture and model-based design
 Experience with operational modeling tools and formal verification processes
