As a Lead Engineer in Technical Publications, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming complex engineering data into precise, high-impact documentation that keeps aircraft systems operating safely and efficiently. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—design, manufacturing, and technical experts—to develop world-class manuals and illustrations that meet the highest industry standards (ATA, S1000D).
What You’ll Do:Lead the creation and refinement of critical technical documents—CMMs, AMMs, SBs, SILs, and more—ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
Translate complex engineering concepts into user-friendly content using tools like FrameMaker, Arbortext, and S1000D authoring platforms.
Bring systems to life visually through high-quality illustrations using Isodraw, CATIA, and 3DVIA.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to fully understand product functionality, maintenance needs, and repair procedures.
Ensure every document meets global standards like ASD-STE100, ATA iSpec2200, and S1000D, with a sharp focus on quality, usability, and safety.
Manage project timelines and quality metrics, while contributing to continuous process improvements and cost savings.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Aerospace Engineering.
4–6 years of proven experience in aerospace Technical Publications.
Expertise in technical writing and editing tools; strong grasp of simplified technical English.
Familiarity with PLM tools (Teamcenter, Enovia) and illustration software.
Sound understanding of electronics and avionics systems; experience in air data, fire protection, and sensor systems preferred.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and a passion for precision.
