As a Lead Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Mechanical Systems & Components (MSC) business unit in Arizona. You will lead a team of technicians and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes and systems.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our operations by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our engineering processes. Your leadership and technical skills will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.

YOU MUST HAVE

-Have practical experience working with engineering equipment

- Be able to find effective solutions based on root causes; and apply six sigma procedures

- Sound technical judgment and opinions

- Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting

- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events

- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness

- Experience in sheetmetal work, hand finish, bending of tubes and other metals
Basic to mid level computer skills

Mechanical Systems & Components (MSC) provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government.
