The Junior-Level Test Engineer position is ideal for a new or recent college graduate with software systems engineering concentration. It is an entry-level position for a person with interest in systems engineering, software engineering, and/or business process engineering. This role is suitable for individuals with a foundational understanding of software testing principles and Agile methodologies, who are eager to gain hands-on experience and further develop their skills in a dynamic team environment. Regression Testing Support: Assist in conducting regression testing to validate software changes and ensure that existing functionality remains intact after modifications or enhancements.
Documentation: Maintain test documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test results, ensuring completeness and accuracy for future reference.
Continuous Learning: Engage in self-study, training, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in software testing principles, test automation, and Agile methodologies.
Test Automation Support: Assist in test automation efforts by contributing to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools under the guidance of senior test engineers.
Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing sessions to uncover defects and validate software behavior from end-users perspectives, contributing to overall testing effectiveness.
