Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
   
Responsibilities:
 - Develop and manage project plans, integrated schedules, and funding mechanisms to execute technical work scopes effectively. 
- Forecast and maintain project demand files aligned with program needs and timelines. 
- Establish and leverage performance metrics to drive project execution and monitor health. 
- Lead vehicle system-level design, integration, build, and test for DoD platforms. 
- Facilitate technical reviews, programmatic events, and bid preparation efforts, including responses to RFIs and proposals. 
- Represent the engineering organization to internal leadership and external customers, acting as the technical point of contact. 
- Coordinate and prioritize incoming problem reports, drive issue resolution, and manage change process metrics. 
- Evaluate and disseminate customer feedback on design changes for prompt response and resolution. 
- Continuously improve engineering processes to enhance design throughput and customer satisfaction. 
   
   
Qualifications:
 - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (other technical degrees considered with relevant experience). 
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering or technical project leadership roles. 
- At least 5 years of direct project management experience, preferably in complex systems development. 
- PMP certification preferred. 
- Experience in DoD, defense contracting, or a similar regulated industry (minimum 5 years). 
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing project risk. 
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), Risk Management, and Teamcenter PLM tools. 
- Strong analytical and planning capabilities, with ability to drive corrective actions for technical risks. 
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to produce high-quality presentations and reports. 
- Must be eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance. (Non-U.S. Citizens may not qualify.) 
- Ability to travel as needed for program or customer support.
