The Manufacturing Systems Applications Engineer will be an integral part of a cross-organizational team of experts supporting the sustainment of various production operations capabilities and as such additional knowledge of PLMs such as Siemens Xcelerator, Dassault 3DX tool and how they integrate with the MES systems.

What You Will Be Doing
This position is required to execute the sustainment of our current MES systems iBASEt/CAMS (Complex Assembly Manufacturing System) across multiple advanced development programs. This position requires knowledge in manufacturing technologies with the ability to resolve technical system execution problems across multiple classified program environments. Candidates must be able to investigate and gather information concerning the technical issues that affect production operation systems. This position will require excellent communication skills to be able to analyze customer problems, create new production processes within current framework, coordinate capability solutions for manufacturing and communicate requirements to information technology architects, and present solutions to the functional core process owners. Candidate will support the successful execution of system releases as well as perform the task of writing test scripts and the ability to execute those scripts to ensure the systems function as designed. The sustainment as well as the stand up of new manufacturing plants with MES capabilities will be critical to our on time production deliveries. As such, this position requires knowledge or the ability to quickly learn iBASEt and CAMS. Participate in the development, documentation, training, and deployment of new Production Operations Business Processes associated with the implementation of PLM and MES tools. Will require interaction with senior personnel and management on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between functions and other Lockheed Martin business areas.

Basic Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of MES Manufacturing Execution Systems (Solumina iBASEt and CAMS SFM) or other similar MES applications

• Experience in manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods
Desired Skills:
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (Solumina iBASEt and CAMS) or similar MES applications

• Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (Dassault 3DX and Siemens Xcelerator) and manufacturing applications with experience in Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes.

• Knowledge of Aeronautical manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods with the ability to utilize that knowledge in developing a digital manufacturing system.

• Good communication skills

• Experience in one or more of the following:

o Process development across multiple systems

o Digital Transformation

o CATIA / 3DX / DELMIA / NX

o Teamcenter / Xcelerator

o Apriso Quality First

o Documenting business processes

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $77,000 - $133,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
