Advance Aerospace Innovation as an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer at PDS Tech Commercial!

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of complex aerospace components. This role is ideal for engineers who excel in precision design and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

What You’ll Do:

Design and develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
Apply ASME standards and GD&T practices to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
Engineer components such as starters, pneumatic valves, actuators, motors, and solenoids.
Participate in supplier and customer meetings, support RMRA assessments, and contribute to Cast-to-Hogout design activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deliverables.
Support environmental testing requirements, including EMI, and work with castings and forgings.

What You’ll Bring:
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical design experience.
Proficiency in NX and Teamcenter.
Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME standards.
Experience with castings, hogout designs, and aerospace components.
Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks.
Creativity and sound judgment in planning and execution.

Pay Rate: $56/hr
Shift: Shay Shift 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Schedule: Full onsite presence required for the first 3 months; hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) available thereafter.

Pay Details: $56.00 per hour
