Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
   
Responsibilities:
 - Collaborate with customers, mission partners, and stakeholders to define and document system requirements 
- Decompose end-to-end system requirements into architecture, interface definitions, design components, and test cases 
- Coordinate with development and integration/test teams to ensure system functionality aligns with mission objectives 
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices using tools such as CAMEO or MagicDraw 
- Support design efforts for cloud-based, microservice-oriented ground systems 
- Contribute to simulation and modeling activities using tools like STK to validate system design 
   
Qualifications:
 - U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or related discipline in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics 
- 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience 
- Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance required at time of hire 
- Experience in Agile development environments 
- Proficiency in systems engineering, particularly for ground or space-ground system architecture 
- Experience decomposing high-level requirements into software/system designs 
- Familiarity with Java, Python, or MATLAB for coordination, analysis, or prototyping 
- Knowledge of cloud technologies as they apply to systems deployment 
- Understanding of simulation/modeling tools, preferably STK 
Preferred Qualifications:
 - Knowledge of ground system design or scheduling systems 
- Understanding of satellite communications and ground-to-satellite link operations 
- Background in mission tracking design or related disciplines
