Electro - Mechanical Technician

Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $27.96-$32.96/Hour

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, testing, assembly, and modification of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, or specialized test equipment.

• Interpret basic engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.

• Construct, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and adjust tools, equipment, and systems.

• Conduct and analyze statistically based experiments to define process parameters and recommend improvements.

• Implement and document solutions for complex process improvements.

• Design and construct basic tooling and fixtures for specialized tasks.

• Analyze and interpret data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• U.S. Citizenship required by Federal Law.

• Active or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Proficiency with fabrication tools and the ability to fabricate complex hardware.

• Solid understanding of technical theories and practical applications.

• Experience interpreting engineering schematics and specifications.
