Job Title: Production Test Technician
Job DescriptionAs a Production Test Technician, you will be responsible for setting up test apparatus and conducting tests on electronic assemblies and units, adhering to established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. You will lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment based on designs and specifications, adjust and calibrate systems as needed, and modify electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches. Additionally, you will correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed. Utilizing hand and small power tools, as well as various measuring and testing devices, you will determine the types of tests to be performed, approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment, and analyze test results to evaluate product and equipment performance. You will assist engineers in the design and development of test procedures for new products and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications. You may also monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures.
Responsibilities

- Utilize hand and small power tools, as well as various measuring and testing devices.
- Determine types of tests to be performed and suggest modifications to testing equipment.
- Analyze test results to evaluate product and equipment performance.
- Assist engineers in the design and development of test procedures for new products.
- Recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures.
Essential Skills- 2-4 years of experience in troubleshooting electronics and electrical systems.
- 2-4 years of experience in electronics circuit card troubleshooting and testing.
- 2-4 years of experience in reviewing test procedures.
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing and fault insertion.
- 2-4 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing.
- Active Secret Clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Proficiency in using hand and small power tools.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate test results.
- Experience in assisting engineers with test procedures and product development.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
