Avionics Technician

Job Description:

Experience Troubleshooting Garmin G1000/G3000 Avionics, Honeywell Primus Epic & Rockwell Collins Proline Fusion Systems including Nav/Com, GPS, and Auto Pilot Systems in Business Aircraft. Experience with Embraer airframes preferred. General knowledge or experience in Gogo L3 & L5 Wi-Fi Installations.

Knowledge of applicable FAA regulations Work experience requiring proficient knowledge of Pitot/Static testing with air data test sets. Altimeter and Transponder recertification's I.A.W. 14 CFR Part 43, Appendix E & F. ELT testing/certification I.A.W. 14 CFR 91.207. Reading and interpretation of wiring diagrams, assembly drawings and installation manuals. Current or past FAA Repairman certification preferred.

Job Requirements:

Work in accordance with established safety practices including proper use of personal protective equipment; maintain a neat and orderly work area.
3-5 Years Experience in aircraft installations under supervision of Shop Manager, Shop Supervisor or Inspector.
Sheet metal and AutoCAD experience is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrating teamwork and professionalism
Basic knowledge in the use of computer systems for office and shop applications
Must have own basic hand tools
