We’re a small but highly experienced general aviation avionics shop based in Denton, Texas, and we’re looking to add a skilled Avionics Installer to our growing team.If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Overview:

As an Avionics Installer, you’ll assist with the removal, installation, and testing of avionics systems and electrical components on a variety of general aviation aircraft. You’ll work independently or as part of a team to fabricate wire harnesses, complete system terminations, and perform functional testing — ensuring every job meets FAA standards and exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, modify, and troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems according to drawings and technical documentation
• Fabricate and route wire harnesses; complete proper terminations and ring-outs
• Perform functional checks on installed systems
• Ensure work complies with FAA regulations and company standards
• Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for assigned tools

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid computer skills (basic software and digital documentation)
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and installation schematics
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our Denton, TX location

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years of avionics installation experience (especially on Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, or Hawker aircraft)
• Experience in harness fabrication, wire terminations, and routing
• Familiarity with Garmin avionics systems, including installation and troubleshooting of units such as:
  • GTN 650/750 and GTN Xi series
  • G3X Touch
  • G5 and GI 275
  • GFC 500/600 Autopilot Systems
  • GTR/GNC Comm and Nav/Comm Radios
  • G500/600 TXi

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (some flexibility possible)
• Pay: $27–$40/hour, based on experience and technical capabilities (Top range offered to experienced Garmin installers and candidates with a strong background in general aviation avionics.)
• Location: Denton, TX
